I had a great meeting with a client yesterday.

We spoke about the importance of team building that goes far beyond offsite activities and afternoon cocktails, and rolling out a program that includes continual “tune-ups” over the course of the next year.

Much like you have to get under the hood of the car sometimes and do oil changes or tune-ups to keep things running smoothly, so does team building – and the process of building the A-team using an approach that is designed to dig deep into human behavior.

What we didn’t talk about?

Fear.

Panic.

The end of life as we know it.

Because none of those things are helpful.

We aren’t sticking our heads in the sand.

We are just committed to growth and improving, and nothing will kill those things faster than fear.
